At B5M Brangus, we select sires on a combination of traits which produce balance and versatility. We appreciate a powerful bull with consistent weaning weights, coupled with calving ease and disposition. Our sires are heat tolerant, sound footed, and high-yielding, and their calves are just like them. 

We’ve recently added CB Ledger 117K19, a purchase from Cavender Brangus. Sired by Masterpiece and out of a first calf Capital gain heifer, he is super correct and straight lined with a big top. Thick, deep-sided, and with outstanding calving ease and growth EPDs, we are excited to see his impact on our next calf crop! 

Another new sire is DMR Mr. Smooth 535K44 purchased from Draggin’ M Ranch. He is out of MS DMR Capitalist 535F2, who is, without a doubt, the best producing daughter of the famed MS DMR Cornoado 535A8 donor. Massive and stout from every direction, he stands on plenty of bone and has outstanding maternal rankings to go with his size.
